Who we are
SlyTots is a brand of Cali Blogs LLC, a California limited liability company. This policy describes the SlyTots website, adult correspondence, and the current Flip & Learn app. Practices for another app may differ; its published privacy information should be read separately. For privacy questions or requests, use our Contact Us form.
Website and contact information
When someone visits this website, hosting and security systems may process an IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information, and abuse-prevention signals to deliver and protect the site. The site does not offer visitor accounts, comments, advertising, behavioral analytics, or marketing signup. Essential browser storage may be used for delivery or security; the contact form also uses a security question and short-lived rate controls. You can manage browser storage in your browser settings, although blocking essential storage may affect a feature that uses it.
The adult Contact Us form asks for a reply email address, a category, and a message. It records submission time and stores the submission in a private WordPress database accessible to authorized administrators. It also emails a copy of the reply address, category, and message to our Hostinger support mailbox. It accepts no attachments and sends no automatic reply. A person may respond using the address provided. We use this information to answer requests, handle privacy concerns, and address related technical issues. We do not use contact messages for advertising or AI model training. Nonconfidential technical descriptions of bugs or feature ideas may inform software maintenance or improvements without requiring continued use of the correspondent’s identifying details.
Where UK data-protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in delivering and securing this website, answering enquiries, and maintaining our software, and on legal obligations where processing is necessary to meet them. We consider the information needed for these purposes and the effect on visitors before relying on those interests.
Please do not submit children’s personal information, government ID numbers, financial or payment information, medical information, passwords, or other sensitive or confidential information. If we become aware of unnecessary child or sensitive information in a submission, we remove or restrict it as appropriate, subject to applicable legal duties and narrow preservation needs. Parents may use the form to ask about information we actually hold concerning a child.
Sharing, location, and retention
Website hosting, security, and correspondence service providers process information needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights or address abuse. The offline app’s gameplay is not sent to these website providers. Website and correspondence processing may occur in the United States or other locations used by those providers, subject to any applicable transfer requirements.
Personal information in support correspondence, including the mailbox copy, is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, address related technical issues, or meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion through the contact form, subject to applicable legal exceptions. Ordinary resolved WordPress messages are subject to an internal deletion schedule and may be removed sooner; mailbox copies, privacy requests, and restricted cases receive separate handling. Deleting a WordPress message does not automatically delete its mailbox copy. Deleted information may remain in restricted provider backups until their normal expiry. Technical website records are retained according to their operational and security purpose and applicable provider settings.
Flip & Learn app
Flip & Learn is an iPad learning app in development for preschool children. Included activities, narration, music, and illustrations work offline after installation. The app has no child account, advertising, in-app purchase, or separate publisher-operated online gameplay service. It does not ask for a child’s name, contact details, location or payment information, and does not read existing photos. It does not automatically send gameplay, learning scores, or diagnostics to SlyTots.
The app keeps sound preferences and parent-check settings on the device. It also maintains a limited local technical event file and may write limited technical information to Apple’s device logging system. These records do not contain children’s content or a remote gameplay history. Activity choices and counts used during play are temporary session information. The local file is not automatically uploaded to us. Delete App removes app-managed local data; Offload App retains it. Device backups, Apple logs, and purchase records are managed separately by Apple.
If you choose to save a drawing or shape picture, Flip & Learn adds it to your Photos library using add-only permission. When Save is requested, the app keeps one local recovery picture if saving is interrupted or denied. It is removed after a successful save or when Discard is chosen, is excluded from device backup, and is not uploaded to SlyTots. The app does not read your existing photos. Saved pictures may sync according to your Apple and iCloud settings and are managed separately from the app. Deleting the app does not necessarily delete those Photos copies; manage them in Photos.
Apple handles App Store purchases, distribution, updates, and its own device and store services. Apple may make developer sales or diagnostic reports available under its rules. This does not give us a child’s offline gameplay history. An adult’s choice to open a store, browser, or support page behind a parent check involves that external service or website; the check limits accidental child access but is not identity verification or consent to collect children’s information. See Apple’s privacy policy for Apple’s practices.
Rights and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, or other controls over personal information we hold. Use the Contact Us form and choose “Privacy request.” We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your authority and respond within applicable legal time limits. You may also complain to a relevant data-protection authority without contacting us first. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled. We update this policy when our practices change and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. No policy update retroactively authorizes processing that requires consent.
